The Acharya Shankar Sanskritik Ekta Nyas shines as a beacon of Indian culture, which has been carefully fostered by the wise sages of yesteryear. Rising from the sacred land of India, Acharya Shankar, also known as Adi Shankaracharya, was a master of the ancient philosophy of Advaita Vedanta. In his brief yet impactful life, he dedicated himself to reviving the spiritual essence of his homeland and spreading the teachings of Sanatana Dharma through intellectual discourses and the written word. To keep his wisdom alive in modern times and honour his legacy, the Acharya Shankar Sanskritik Ekta Nyas was established in 2017-18 under Article 4 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trust Act, 1951.This registered trust, functioning under the Department of Culture of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, is dedicated to reviving and nourishing India’s cultural and spiritual essence by promoting Advaita Vedanta. Under the guidance of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, who serves as the presiding Chairman, and 14 other trustees, Nyas organises various activities and projects at Omkareshwar, the birthplace of knowledge for Acharya Shankar, to spread the teachings of this great sage and honour his legacy.
